ADSDS(Advanced Super Dimension Switch):先进超维转换技术。它是京东方科技集团通过对现代电子的FFS(见FFS词条)技术的改进,于2010年前后开发出来的宽视角液晶显示技术。FFS技术结构中的指状电极节距因特性改善的要求逐步减小,电极边缘电场强度和方向分布也更加杂乱。京东方的ADS技术通过工艺和设计升级,在指状电极节距减小的同时,仍形成良好的边缘电场分布,高效控制液晶透光状态转换,提升了显示品质及相关特性。

AM-OLED(Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Display):有源矩阵有机电致发光显示器,即由有源器件(如薄膜晶体管等)像素电路阵列驱动对应有机电致发光器件发光的显示器。相对于无源(如逐行扫描脉冲驱动)方式驱动的有机电致发光显示器(PM-OLED),AM-OLED不仅适合于大容量图像显示,而且画面品质高、寿命长。

Array:阵列。通常指有源驱动平板显示器中的一片玻璃基板(阵列基板),其上制作有与显示器像素对应排布的有源驱动器件(如薄膜晶体管等)电路阵列及周边附属电路。它也指制作这一基板的工艺过程,即阵列工序。阵列工序与在硅晶圆上制造半导体集成电路的工序相似,通过反复实施成膜、光刻及蚀刻工艺,在玻璃基板上制造出半导体电路。阵列工序通常被称为液晶面板制造的第一道工序。
