1704286246 压缩空气是隐藏在霍尼韦尔工厂中的一位无名英雄。在整个生产流程中,包括零部件的移动、清洁、喷涂及组装在内的各种机械性能都必须依靠压缩空气完成。2012年,为了在所有霍尼韦尔工厂落实标准化运营,提升运营水平,我们决定对压缩空气的使用情况进行一次大检查。尽管空气价格便宜,但压缩空气却需要消耗大量的能源,成本不菲。在对26个工厂的压缩空气系统进行排查之后,我们共发现1600多处漏洞。修复这些漏洞(并且不再产生新的漏洞)共为我们节省了80多万美元的能源成本。另外,我们也趁此机会对氮气、氩气和氦气等工业气体的使用情况进行了摸底,结果又额外节省了大约12万美元。
