最后必须重申，计量经济学应用模型的总体设定，即经济系统的主体动力学关系分析，不是理论经济学的任务，而是计量经济学的任务。一项计量经济学应用研究课题，或者一篇计量经济学应用研究论文，必须将大部分工作或者大部分篇幅放在模型的总体设定方面，否则研究课题是不可能成功的，研究论文也是没有人愿意阅读的。
