影响力(全新升级版) (1)《影响力》出版以来,我不曾面对博伊尔所预测的那种愤怒而居高临下的态度,哪怕同事里最硬派的学者也没这么做过。有必要对此稍做解释。我认为这主要出于两个原因。首先,和日报上“人文”文章里出现的通俗社会科学形式不同,我扎扎实实地引用了数百本出版物作为我陈述和结论的基础。其次,我想要争取推广的是一种研究人类反应的特殊方法,即实验行为科学的方法,而不是推广我自己的研究或特定类别的研究。我当时并非有意为之,但它消除了实验行为科学家同行们的戒心。这或许证实了我长久以来秉持的一种信念:人总不会把自己搭乘的船给弄沉。
