在西方发现陈寅恪：中国近代人文学的东方学与西学背景 结 语

东方学之目录学当然是一个很大的题目，这里基本上仅就德国出版的《东方学之目录学》作一点基本提示。中国学者非常重视目录学，陈垣先生、邓广铭先生均将目录学列为治史之重要工具。但近代以来编纂东方学、佛教学目录、书籍提要取得更大成就的还是日本学者(73)，他们编辑出版了大量的工具书、目录和索引，其中最得西文书目学精髓者便是前文提及的京都大学编辑出版的《东洋学文献类目》。我们今天看《东方学之目录学》之源流，可知寅恪见识之敏锐。如果想要在学术上取得成绩，不能不广泛了解东西洋学者的贡献和学术进展，因而编辑整理各类学术论著目录乃是学界不可忽视之重要治学领域。
