【解答】所询二字意义大不相同，simulate＝make pretence of=feign，所以说 simulate madness 就是“装疯”。 Pride may simulate humility.（骄傲常伪装为谦逊。）至于 dissimulate=dissemble=conceal，意为“隐藏”、“掩饰”，例如： She dissimulated her anger with a smile.（她以笑来掩饰她的愤怒。）这个 dissimulate 不如 dissemble 来得通俗，但与 simulate 对比的场合，习惯上都用 dissimulate，后者加上了反义前缀的 dis-，不是毫无意义的。
